Frangipanis in Summer

Summertime flowers in Jervis Bay are spectacular. These frangipanis were found in Huskisson on a lovely sunny afternoon in February!

I’m enjoying using macro lenses more, returning to the simple, little joys of life.

My grandfather was a florist well into his 90s! We loved as kids to walk around his gigantic gardens, see where he was, how he was tending to the flowers. With overalls on, green gum boots & the key to the garden shed on a rope tide to his waist.

I wish now that I could take my camera around his garden. But it’s long gone. So local flowers in our beautiful Jervis Bay will do!
