Point Perpendicular from Nelson's Beach
This photograph is an example of perfect time and place. I didn't plan on this shoot at all. Nelson's Beach is a beach that I had been wanting to go to for a long time but never got around to it. Crazy really, as it's less than 10 minutes from home.
On this day, I parked the car and tried to tune in the radio station without success!! What to do?! Get out of the car and walk along the beach. After a bit of a scramble the radio app saved the day! Now, this all seems like a rather bizarre and pointless story, but indeed, I wanted to listen to the radio as my brother was live on air. He was talking on ABC Sydney about his recent International Poetry Prize win!!
Before long proud little sister was happily hearing him speak and taking a few new snaps. The clouds were amazing, gorgeous blues in the ocean, and of course the white sand we all love. It really was a perfect little outing and I'm so glad now that each time I see this photograph I think of my brother.
