“Summer Memories,” at Hyams Beach.

There’s something so special about walking along Hyams Beach, the sand squeaking as you leave each footprint behind. The inner buzz you feel touching the ‘World’s whitest sand,’ an experience perhaps only a few will journey to in their lifetime. The colours of the ocean are varying shades of aqua & blue you have to see to believe; changing vividly with the sunshine, cloud or rain.

I enjoyed taking this photograph in September 2021. Standing up on the rocks, hoping I wouldn’t fall, and most of all hoping to get “the shot.” This rocky area is between Little Hyams & Hyams Beach. It can be gorgeous during low tide with shades of bright green moss, and stunning at high tide as the waves splash into the shoreline.
